St. George Spring sessions

Oh this poor poor blog, it gets so neglected sometimes. It’s been a busy busy Spring and there are SO many sessions I want to share, so again, I am bundling up a few for you.

These spring sessions in St. George were so much fun! Spring always makes me so happy because winter makes me so sad.

These kids were all so adorable and the location was so lovely at that time, it just blew out every last bit of my winter blues. Thanks so much to all the Moms, Grandmas and uncles for hanging with us on these shoots. Little ones are usually pretty wild so to have a little back up is always a good thing!

(Side note… I am all booked for the Spring and most of summer. Now booking for mid-August)

Hello freinds

It’s good to be back posting again. Had to take a little hiatus while the senior contest was in gear and it was tough with SO many beautiful sessions to post. One of the reasons I am doubling up this one with two different sessions.

These two little darlings are actually cousins and so close in age. So so fun. And both at my very favorite age to work with. 6-8 month babies just make my heart sing. So sweet and happy and squishy. Yummy. I just love everything about this age and absolutely LOVE to photograph it. Hope you love to look at it.

The Styled Senior Session Giveaway!

I have been waiting and waiting for this friends… and now, it’s here!

I have teamed up with some AMAZING women to bring you this incredible contest. A team in Southern and Northern Utah for a winner on each end of the state. Much like the “Style My Kid” contest, each winner will get a FREE Senior girl session, including professional hair, makeup and styling by these incredibly gifted women. My southern Utah team will include Latisha Springer of The Girl in the Yellow Dress, and Cara Killpack of MaskCara. My Northern Utah team will include Jade Baird of Kissable Complexions and Amanda Sanchez of Little Miss Fearless. The clothes and goodies are on us. Oh yes.

Here is how it works girls…

You must be a current high school senior or heading into your senior year this Fall. You must email a photo of yourself to me by March 20th(extended deadline) to tracylayneportraits@gmail (dot) com or go to the contact tab at the top of my website. After all of the entries are in, I will post a photo album on my Facebook page for southern Utah entries and an album for northern Utah entries.

Then the voting begins. You will get votes by sending people to “like” your photo on my facebook page. Additional votes will be given for the following: (and trust me, you want to be following all of these)

1.) Each person who subscribes to vendors websites/blogs (so each person can get you 5 votes this way by following all vendors)

2.) Each person who follows the vendors Facebook pages, which can be found through the links above on their websites (again, 5 votes by following all vendors)

3.) Sharing this contest on Instagram and following me there. @tracylayneportraits hashtag #tlpgiveaway Make sure to use the hash tag so I can see it.

Back again – the Losee Family

Recognize these peeps? You should if you follow me.

I love them. And I love every session I have ever done with them. Danna always wants to try something new, and that makes me so happy. This session was done during my St. George Fall trip. I have been meaning to post them for so long and I’m so glad I finally got to them. I loved the light, the interesting colors and textures, and how much this captured their personality and style. Love.
